Peter Paciorek – FWFC Flying Member – Private Pilot
I am 45 yrs old born and raised in the DFW area. I am married with 2 kids, wife – Stacie, Daughter – Micah (9 yrs), and son Lucas (4 yrs). We have two dogs, a lab mix and a pure breed Belgian Malinois (he makes us run 3-4 times a day). I enjoy working out, doing projects around the house, and of course flying, whatever to keep me busy. I work in Technology Risk for Citi Bank, nothing glorious, but it pays the bills.
My dad worked for General Dynamics, then Lockheed Martin his whole career, so I grew up around F16s, F22, F35s, etc. I have always loved flying since my dad’s work friend built an experiment from a kit and took me up when I was around 10. I was hooked from then! I wanted to be an Airforce pilot, but life issues wouldn’t let me (asthma and flat feet). However, I still wanted to fly so I was going to go career back before 9-11 happened. After that, I just finished my private and went about my life. One thing led to another, and life just got in the way of flying. Then I got married, finished school, and had a few kids. Now I want to get back in the air to hopefully get my wife and kids involved in aviation. I got back into it back in March of 2022 (See picture below of the yellow Cessna) and really hit more flight time around Sept – Oct of 2023 and have been flying at least once a month since to keep the rust knocked off. I am really looking forward to getting more solo flights and taking my wife and daughter up. The son is still too young…for now.
